WILink Reports Investor Interest in Annual Reports Surges to Record Levels in Recent Weeks

May Indicate Shift in Investment Interest From Real Estate to Equities

RICHMOND, VA – October 20, 2005 – WILink plc (LSE: WLK.L), a worldwide provider of web-based communication solutions and online investor relations services, says requests for annual reports through their Annual Reports Service have been at record levels over the last three weeks.  This rising trend in investor requests for annual reports suggests that interest in equities is growing as we enter the fourth quarter.

 

Over the last three weeks, annual reports have been requested from WILink’s Annual Reports Service at levels 68% higher than the same period last year.  In fact, requests for annual reports during the last three weeks are higher than they have been entering the fourth quarter in the last five years. At the same time, there has been a rise in reports of softening real estate markets in certain areas.

 

“The increase in demand for annual reports may be signaling the beginning of a shift of investor interest from real estate back into the equity market,” said J.
